Business Development Manager/Assistant Manager (China Solutions & Partnerships)

Job Highlight:

We seek a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager/Assistant Manager to join New Media Group. You will play two pivotal roles: driving revenue growth on our China solution/products and spearheading the development of new partnerships to propel business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1.China Advertising Solutions :

  • Act as the primary point of contact for China advertising solutions, working closely with the sales team to promote and sell our advertising products.
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and secure new clients within China, driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Understand client needs and tailor advertising solutions to meet their business objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the sales team, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to sell our products effectively.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation in our advertising offerings.
  • Explore and develop new client relationships for revenue growth.

2. Partnership Management :

  • Identify, approach, and negotiate with potential partners that align with the company’s strategic goals and can contribute to revenue growth.
  • Build strong relationships with existing and new partners, ensuring mutual benefits and long-term collaboration.
  • Develop partnership agreements and manage the execution of joint initiatives to maximise business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate partner offerings into our product portfolio and marketing strategies.
  • Track and analyse the performance of partnerships, providing regular reports to senior management and recommending improvements where necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the advertising or media industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling advertising solutions and managing client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of the China market, with existing contacts and networks being highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Creative and versatile, with the ability to identify innovative business opportunities.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively, focusing on achieving business growth.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects independently
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Knowledge of Canva/Photoshop is a plus
